More About the “8 Blocks” Training: The “8 Blocks” training is a series of classes designed to teach parents how to apply the principles, concepts, and specific methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in raising and educating their children.

No prior knowledge or background in psychology, education, behavioral sciences, or any other field is required to successfully participate in the program.

The skills and knowledge gained during the training are useful for parents of children with developmental challenges (such as neurological conditions, autism spectrum disorders, or ADHD), as well as for parents of typically developing children who may struggle with learning or with relationships with peers and/or adults (such as teachers or parents).

Each block consists of four sessions, each session lasting two hours. Sessions are held once a week through an online communication platform. The Parent Academy organizes small groups for these classes. Small groups make it possible to discuss individual cases in detail during sessions and to continue working effectively between meetings.

How the “8 Blocks” Training Sessions with Parents Are Conducted

Each session includes a theoretical component and a discussion of real-life examples shared by participants. Parents in the “8 Blocks” training receive materials for independent practice after every session. Between sessions, participants can always reach out to the instructor for support with their homework.
