They have already seen positive results, their child\u2019s behavior has improved, and most likely their child has learned some new skills.\n\u2713 But every participant has also experienced situations where undesirable behavior returned, or newly learned skills seemed to disappear. To make sure changes last, we need to practice lessons in different settings, with different people, and under a variety of conditions.\n\u2713 The environment surrounding the child at the moment they are expected to demonstrate a new skill can either prevent that behavior or trigger it.\n\u2713 Instructors help parents identify what needs to be added to lessons so that skills don\u2019t vanish as soon as the session ends.
